In this 4-week live course, students will explore AI-powered app development using Thunkable, a block-based coding platform. They will create apps with speech recognition, text-to-speech, image recognition, QR code scanning, and chatbots, gaining hands-on experience in AI and mobile app design. By the end, learners will have a portfolio of AI-powered apps to showcase their skills.

The highlight of the course is the Space Explorer, where students will use ChatGPT to create an app that answers space-related questions. By the end, learners will have a portfolio of AI-driven mobile apps to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Lesson 1: Introduction to AI and Thunkable – Learn AI fundamentals and explore Thunkable's AI components.
Lesson 2: SpeakEasy – Translator – Create a real-time AI translator that converts text into different languages.

📌 Week 2: AI-Powered Communication Apps
Lesson 3: SpeakEasy – Text-to-Speech – Build an app that converts text into speech using Thunkable’s AI feature.
Lesson 4: My AI Speech Recognizer – Develop an app that listens and converts speech to text.

📌 Week 3: AI Recognition & Scanning Apps
Lesson 5: The Microsoft Image Recognizer – Use AI-powered image recognition to analyze and detect objects in images.
Lesson 6: Barcode and QR Code Scanning App – Create an app that scans and decodes QR codes and barcodes.

📌 Week 4: AI Chatbot & Final Project
Lesson 7: Space Explorer using ChatGPT – Part 1 – Build a chatbot that responds to user questions using Thunkable’s AI chatbot feature.
Lesson 8: Space Explorer using ChatGPT – Part 2 – Improve and test your chatbot for fully interactive AI-powered conversations.
