Students will have the opportunity to contribute at least once during class. Parents will receive monthly feedback, more frequent if necessary, to encourage participation. Verbal participation is required and will be highly supported by facilitator, as needed, until students are comfortable with expressing their ideas with more independence.修了証書

In this ongoing book club, we will read books discussing climate change, renewable, and non-renewable energies. Our first book,"Unsettled: What Science Tells Us, What It Doesn't, and Why It Matters" is written by the former Undersecretary of Science, U.S. Dept. of Energy under the Obama administration and professor of theoretical physics. Learners will be assigned a specific chapter reading and questions to prepare for each class. Weekly class meetings will provide an opportunity for students to discuss and debate the readings. Classes will be student centered with teacher facilitation. We will to cover one chapter per week. Unsettled by Steven E. Koonin. We wil be referencing and marking the text so I recommend a hard copy of the book, new or used. Available on Amazon approximately $12 USD. There is an expanded version, very new and only available for Kindle or Audible but I will not be referencing this version at this time. The e-book can be used if you are comfortable with bookmarking this version. Handouts with questions and discussion points will be provided weekly.
