Students will learn from basic to advance level of chess. Chess is a beautiful game to learn and helps students develop critical thinking and logical intelligences. It has shown scientific benefits for a healthy brain. In this class students will progress from basic to advance level of chess. The tutor will ascertain the chess level of the student by playing some games and then progress accordingly as per the child's level. Some of the basics which will be covered are :
Sample for beginners:
Week 1: Understanding piece movements , capture and defense, protection, opening principles , golden rules of chess 
Week 2 : Check and checkmate  defense of check 
Week 3 : Check in 1 , check in 2 , mate in 1 , mate in 2. 
Week 4 : Discovered check , Rook roller mate , various kinds of mate like mate with a queen etc. 
Week 5 : Strategies in chess - deflection , decoy and sacrifice
Week 6 : Double attack , Pins and skewers
Week 7 :Activity and passivity of pieces, king's protection 
Week 8 : Gambits , open and closed positions 
Week 9 : End games 
Week 10 : Recap and observing games of grandmasters. 

If a learner is already aware of the basics then we will proceed with more advanced concepts like

9. Endgame tactics 
Since this is a one on one class , the teacher will teach by playing with the student.
