カタパルト (STEM チャレンジ): カタパルトを使用した STEM チャレンジの準備はできていますか?

In this course students will learn the History, Math, Engineering, and Science behind catapults. They will then create their own mini version of a catapult that they will use to catapult other mini objects across the room. (Objects can include foil balls, mini marshmallows, Mini Pumpkins, and cotton balls.)

Students will be encouraged to think out of the box and create their own design. Students will be shown two separate catapult designs that they may choose to make if they can not think of one to make on their own. 

Students will measure the distance to see how far they can shoot their catapult. They will see if they can accurately shoot their object into a bowl, and they will try to knock down a paper cup tower. 

Students do not need any prior knowledge about catapults to take this class. 

Please note: Siblings and Co-Learners must be enrolled to attend and participate in class.

*This class will still be taught with only one learner. Parents will be notified if no other learners have enrolled 24 hours prior to class, confirming that their learner is comfortable with a one on one class.  Cancelation due to low enrollment is at the discretion of the parent only. I, the teacher, will not cancel the class due to low enrollment. *
