This is an introductory course where learners will explore the different career choices for a Wildlife Biologist and Environmental Scientist. We'll cover work as an ecologist in various habitats, relationships between the plants and animals of various ecosystems, data collection skills, documentation and writing reports. In addition, we’ll cover employers that hire Environmental Scientists and typical skills they are looking for. Course material will use a combination of lecture and Google slides to teach the material with opportunities for all students to interact and share questions throughout the lecture. No prior experience or knowledge is required, just an interest in learning about working with our environment!
