Let’s play and learn with m & m’s!! In this one-time class learners will practice counting m&m’s, subtracting m&m’s, and creating patterns with m & m’s. This is a fun and easy math class to brush up on some important math skills. Learners will begin with estimation, followed by color sorting, counting, graphing, patterning, and the best part EATING the m&m's. Learners will need one bag of regular size bag of m & m's (or 55-60 m & m's). Please wait to have learner open the bag after class begins because we will do estimating at the very beginning of class where students estimate how many m & m's are in the bag as well as which color they think there will be the most, and the least of. Included is worksheets in black and white, as well as in color. You can print according to your preference.

I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education (Birth to 3rd grade), I taught 4th grade and middle school in North Carolina where I tested to be able to teach up to 8th grade. I was formally trained by Handwriting Without Tears, as well as Zoo Phonics. I have taught numerous children of all backgrounds in person and online using both Handwriting Without Tears and Zoo Phonics. I have taught Preschool through Kindergarten for 5 years, plus 2 years in older grades, as well as my stepdaughters and my daughter using the Handwriting Without Tears method.
