In this 4-day #academic multi-course, students who dream of vet school learn all about the veterinary life and culture of the veterinary world. This course is suitable for students pursuing any animal/veterinary career: doctors, specialists, veterinary technicians, assistants, groomers (although grooming itself isn't discussed), reception, management. After working in the Veterinary space since 2004 and moving towards education and advocacy of animals in 2014, I have created this course for students to prepare for the next huge task of their lives: the work of veterinary medicine.


I ask you to carefully consider the course syllabus listed day by day below. We do not cover the memorization of body parts and vitals. Rather, I will take your child on a holistic journey of the veterinary industry examining many fields of veterinary medicine, creating a platform where critical thinking and lifelong curiosity is able to emerge and flourish, and ultimately challenging your children to hypothesize, synthesize, and theorize. I provide visuals and various professional video demonstrations of practical skills. I will have supplemental videos and articles that are catered to your child's interest in the classroom.

There is no required knowledge coming into the course. Please share your passions, favorite animals, and goals. There will be opportunities! This is a great introduction course, but it is different than my other courses and I'm proud to say I've never had a student tell me the feel like they wasted their time and learned nothing! I try to meet students where they already are!

- Students will answer what makes a good veterinarian and practice

Day 2: Welcome to Vet Work
- Guess the baby animal

- When a pet arrives at the hospital...
- Deciding animal injury/sickness severity

Day 3: Hello, Dr! 
- X-ray colors, Radiation safety
- Play Guess The X-Ray
