What will be taught:
     In this ongoing class, your learner will discover the fundamentals of art and creation with low-stress drawing activities, let go of expectations, and unleash their imagination. Lessons are inspired by therapeutic art activities, meditative art, "zentagles", and more!

What topics will be covered:
     Throughout the lessons, we will cover various elements of art and design such as repetition, balance, and color theory. We will also practice many art skills such as line control, shading, and line variations. Some lessons may also ask learners to self reflect and use critical and creative thinking (ex. drawing cartoons to represent hunger; which color would you choose to represent your tiredness)

How is the class structured, teacher interaction, and how will I teach:
     We will begin class with a brief breathing exercise to get ourselves into a better headspace. Then, I will teach a step-by-step drawing lesson where the learners can follow me completely or make their own creative changes to their drawing. During this time, I ask that learners will work silently and quietly notify me if they need help. Lessons may not require constant instructions, so learners can work quietly or have calm conversations while still working until the end of class
     Throughout the class, I will announce opportunities to share their work in progress and their final drawings. The entire classroom will be expected to share constructive criticism positively and be kind and patient with each other and I will enforce this with each learner. 
     Based on learner pacing and the complexity of the lesson and our focus on the process rather than the outcome, not all drawings may be completed by the end of the class. Learners can choose to finish their lessons after class on their own time. (Class structure is subject to adjust/change to improve on classroom effectiveness

What is my teaching style:
     While learners will be taught techniques and methods, learners will be encouraged to not dwell on "perfections", but instead use their current skills and drawing styles to create unique art.

I take each of your learners' individual development earnestly. Each interaction I have with your learner will be to guide and empower them to take charge of their own artistic and creative journey with all the tools, techniques, and tricks I can provide. 

2. I believe that knowledge and exploration is a key component to creativity. 
Every day I strive to learn something new and explore my talents every so I can lead your learner by example. The more information we have about the world around us can inspire our minds in endless ways

Every learner is encouraged to support and encourage each other through positive words, sharing their strengths, patience and understanding. Each learner brings with them their own unique experiences and ideas so I try to motivate everyone to collaborate, inspire, and be inspired
