What will be taught? Week 1: Nov 24th - Houses Week 2: Dec 1st - Secret Underground bases Week 3: Dec 8th - Roller Coasters Week 4: Dec 15th - Aquariums Week 5: Dec 22rd - Castles Week 6: Dec 29th - Statues What topics will you cover? Concepts, framing, setup and elements help add polish to your creations How is your class Structured? Students will receive an itinerary of what projects will be getting worked on, and instructions on how to do it. Classes begin with introductions of new students. This class is an open concept, so each class day will have a new 2-hour project How Will you Teach? Referring to the itinerary and showing the starting techniques, middle techniques and ending techniques to each style of game being made. Teach Style My style is very inclusive. I encourage every student to speak and ask questions. I prefer to never keep my students muted. If students are talking too much, they will be politely asked to stop so the other students can get a chance to speak. I also build a project along side the students to better display the examples I was referring to. Minecraft beginners will get extra help on being able to look for specific blocks and how-to place blocks, on top of being helped to build their mini games. How much will the learners interact with each other? As much as they like. Students are encouraged to try each other’s games and to ask each other questions on how they put it all together. Between classes, students are encouraged to get together and share what they like about Minecraft and their games. Any required Experience or knowledge? All levels of Minecraft users are welcome. More experienced players will be challenged to build larger games and to use more of their time to make their games last longer

受講に必要なもの
If you're not familiar with connecting to a third party server, after downloading Minecraft, this may help you. 1. You will need to know how to log into a Microsoft Account. If you don't have one, they're free to get and are necessary because Minecraft won't allow you into a server without one. However, please make sure the account is classed as an adult account. For the Nintendo Switch users, this device may require that you link your Microsoft account with your Switch accounts in order to proceed. 2. Open up the game and select play 3. Select server (on the top tab) 4. Scroll down past all the featured servers and click the "Add Server button" 5. Input the server's name, address and port numbers. 6. Enjoy!

教師の専門知識と資格
After graduating University, I worked overseas in China for a year as an ESL teacher. Upon returning, I moved into the Banking Industry and worked for almost a decade. I decided that that industry no longer appealed to me, so I transitioned fully into the video game industry. I have since taught classes in Scratch, Minecraft and Roblox and assisted over 100 students through my current employer. Joining Outschool is my attempt at doing something I enjoy, while working more independently.
My goal here is to teach your young minds what I have learned, so if you too decide to enter the multi-billion-dollar industry of video games, you will be better prepared. Any homework that I give out is designed to a challenge, more than a requirement. There is no right or wrong, only the attempt and effort are appreciated. I’m always available for questions and I try to give a response within 12 hours of seeing the message.
I’ll be honest with you; programming is difficult and intimidating regardless of if you see it for the first time or your one-hundredth time. It is a challenge that gives you never-ending puzzles as you try to build on what you have.
I am of the mindset that if somebody orders a dozen of something, I give them thirteen. If they do not like what I am able to provide, I will always give a refund for the last class taught.
When I’m not building games, I love competing at e-sports. I’ve travelled to compete at Dreamhack and numerous other local tournaments. I captained my school’s collegiate Hearthstone and Overwatch teams and I’m currently training several players to become competitive at Street Fighter 5. If e-sports is your thing, and demand it high enough, I’ll see if I develop a few classes on it in the future.
