自分だけのムーンベースキャンプを作ろう

During the camp students will design their own moonbase while exploring the planetary science behind the Moon and lunar exploration. We will learn about the formation, unique geology, relation to Earth, and potential for future exploration of the Moon. 

Learners will investigate the challenges of establishing a human presence on the Moon. We will look at what resources are available and how we might use them. We will discuss the reasons to go to the Moon, ranging from scientific exploration to mining and the establishment of a gateway for further space exploration. 

This is a highly interactive course. Students will learn through an image and video filled presentation and discussion. Students’ participation and questions are regularly encouraged. 

This course is perfect for the young space enthusiast who wants to deepen and expand their knowledge of space. However, no previous knowledge in the subject is required. 

Classes are designed to encourage student engagement and follow their curiosity. Sessions one through three will be lecture and discussion based. In session four students will present their own lunar bases to their classmates.
