Bonjour! I am Madame Heather and I am a licensed French teacher for ages preK-12. I have 14 years teaching experience in the classroom and over 4 years teaching experience online. I have a BA in French, an MA in Sociolinguitics, and I have lived in the south of France where I taught ESL. I am an engaging teacher who focuses first on making the student feel comfortable learning a new language in a natural way. I believe learning a language should be fun and I also like to use manipulatives to keep students moving during class. I look forward to helping your student expand their interest in francophone culture and language.

The teacher will also provide a list of the vocabulary words used in class so students may practice their new words after class is over. Prior to class, please have a band of paper measured to your child's head pre cut but not glued yet. We will write on it in class. They may bring glue or a glue stick to complete their hat after we color and write on it in class.
