週1時間. I highly recommend parents read to, or with your child 15-20 minutes everyday. While reading, have your child play Eye Spy for letter/sounds or words read in the story. This the perfect at home, less-than-a-minute, meaningful teachable moment!

Bob Books Set 2 offers young readers more material at the beginner level. The twelve stories offer more practice of three- and four-letter words, building confidence and familiarity. Sentences are slightly longer, building reading stamina, and 26 sight words are introduced and practiced throughout the series. 
Just as in Bob Books: Set 1, we will focus each class on sets of short vowel 3- and 4-letter words.  Many 3 letter words will have been introduce in Bob Books: Set 1- recognition is key, as they say, "practice makes perfect."  Sequentially new words will be added each week to build decoding, reading skills. Additionally, 26 sight words will be practiced in this series. Punctuation and sentence structure understanding are continued throughout set 2.  
Class will be conducted in a fun, personable, relaxed manner, to make the class enjoyable for all students. Young learners typically love to share their ideas and thoughts. This makes learning fun and meaningful! Students will be encouraged to take turns, be kind and courteous when listening to fellow students. We will also practice encoding, word building and writing/fine motor skills to reinforce spelling, proper letter formation and word vocabulary. Please refer to Learning Goals for specific words practiced and covered in this class.

Hello! 
I am a mom, Montessori teacher and yoga instructor who enjoys inspiring the minds of young student to love learning, and have an appreciation for living in the moment. 
I received my Montessori training on the campus of the University of California- Irvine, and have had the pleasure of working with directors trained by Maria Montessori and her son, Mario Montessori while teaching in Newton, MA. 
The Montessori teaching method teaches the whole child, learning through the senses-sight, sound and tactile specifically. 
As a yoga instructor, I believe we are students our whole life. There is so much beauty in life and in the world for us to learn and share. Outschool is definitely a great platform for instilling a love of learning and I would be happy to share in your child's educational journey.
