This class is being offered to support students interested in moving from 3D models to live specimens. Students are required to have completed Biology Essentials: Dissection Alternative course, they must have their own dissection materials (worm, crayfish, perch, frog or other specimen they need support dissecting). Dissection kit and tray Specimens (worm, crayfish, perch, frog) safety glasses washing station warm soapy water and rinse pans (bags/ container for storing specimens)
This course will provide necessary support, additional meetings can be added upon request. Please be aware that perch and frog dissections usually take 2 or more class periods to dissect. Your student is already aware of body systems and organs that will help them recognize what they are looking at as they, well prepared for this next step.
