このクラスで学べること
An introductory course for beginners! This is an excellent class to for getting students curious and interested in leaning Spanish. Students will learn by hearing, seeing, and repeating Spanish words as well as phrases. Additionally, we will also be learning songs in Spanish (Le Mer, La Bamba, Los Colores, etc). Songs will primarily be practiced acapella (without accompaniment). Learning Goals: Students will learn a variety of songs, vowels, consonants, shapes, numbers, days, and colors in Spanish. Through immersion and practice; we'll sing in Spanish, use repetition, converse, watch engaging videos, dance, and hear wonderful stories. Activities in each lesson will scaffold, building on previous lessons and will ensure learners are interested and engaged while I gradually add vocabulary and new concepts to their knowledge. Students can practice some of the songs with accompaniment on my youtube channel which will be provided. Class structure: 5 minute introduction and check in, 5 minute warm-up, 10 minutes singing, 5-10 minute vocabulary, 10-15 minutes conversation/homework, 5 questions and answer session, 5 minutes reflection/closure. I will be offering Part 2 if students want to continue learning Spanish with me.

I live on a homestead in Vermont. If the power ever goes out (it's very rare as we have a back up generator), please understand. I will accommodate your schedule and hold a make up class. This is highly unlikely but need to share this with you.

This is an enrichment class, you need is your voice (your musical instrument). Song lyrics are included in the syllabus and some can be found on youtube links which I will provide.
