週あたり 1-2 時間. Students are expected to enroll in my flashcard course through memrise.com (which is completely free). The app automatically keeps track of how much students study. They will be expected to study at least 15 minutes a day. In addition, unlike Beginner's Japanese 1! there are a few short additional reading/writing/ listening assignments some weeks :)テスト
At this point, the student should be ready to take the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N5 level. N5 is the first of five tests that rank proficiency in Japanese. Enrolling in and taking the test is optional, but it would likely be encouraging to students to see the progress they have made so far. The test is offered twice a year (summer and winter). The test will likely still be a challenge, but I have high confidence that students who participate and do the required homework will have the skills needed to pass the test.この文章は自動翻訳されています
このクラスで学べること
ようこそみなさん! Welcome everyone to Beginners Japanese 2! べんきょうしましょう! In this course, we will continue to learn the basics of speaking, reading, and writing as we dive into more kanji, grammar, and vocabulary! This course, like the previous course (Beginners Japanese 1!) is designed to teach students all the material that would be covered up through the Japanese Language Proficiency Test's rudimentary level, the JLPT-N5. Students will learn new grammar concepts in class, where we will practice speaking and listening to one another with the grammar being studied that week. Between classes, students will be enrolled in my flashcard course where they will be asked to study fifteen minutes a day to keep up with the material we are learning in class. Besides the flashcard homework, this class has occasional reading, listening, and writing assignments. These additional assignments will generally take no longer than half an hour for the whole week. Students who have not taken Beginner's Japanese 1! are free to enroll in this course, but they will be expected to know most of the information taught in that class. At the bottom of this section is a shortlist of what is covered in Beginner's Japanese 1! The curriculum below focuses on verb grammar, but we will be learning nouns, particles, and other bits of grammar throughout the class :) Week 1: We will begin learning katakana, more kanji, and learn how to say, "I have to..." in plain and polite forms! Week 2: We will continue with katakana, learn continuative, and learn stative form for verbs. Week 3: We will learn how to say, "must" and "must not" with verbs and learn how to say "not yet" and how to say "after" and "because." Week 4: We will learn how to say, "even if...", give permission, and make polite requests. Week 5: We will study how to say "without doing...", different uses of まえ (before, in front of), ある and いる, and は and が. Week 6: We will study how to talk about "more than/less than. We will also study the potential form. Week 7: We will study い and な adjectives, both positive and negative forms. Week 8: We will study the past tense of both い and な adjectives Week 9: We will study negative-past tense adjectives! Week 10: We will learn about combining adjectives and adverbial adjectives! Week 11: We will study more adverbial adjectives and nominal adjectives! Week 12: We will review all the grammar necessary for the JLPT N5 exam, with a special emphasis on particles and listening! Here is a shortlist to see if you are ready for this course (based on what is covered in Beginner's Japanese 1!) Here are a few short sentences you would be expected to be able to read: すしをたべました。 あめがふりません。 いきましょうか? にほんにいったことがありますか? にほんにいきたいです。 ピアノをひくのがすきです。(Katakana will be reviewed in this course, in Hiragana, the first word is ぴあの) えをかくのがじょうずです。 およがないでください。 たすけて! You would want to be able to read most of these sentences (at least the grammar concepts if not all the words). Here is the list of Kanji the 68 kanji covered in Beginner's Japanese 1! You probably want to be familiar with at least 70% 少 友 毛 半 心 内 生 六 七 切 方 戸 太 父 水 白 文 円 矢 市 牛 小 立 丁 日 刀 千 木 王 左 中 月 々 田 右 出 目 了 火 才 手 天 丸 正 土 犬 夕 女 又 玉 本 子 上 か 下 大 工 入 山 口 人 力 川 一 二 三 四 五
学習到達目標
Students will learn the last Japanese writing system (katakana), about 300-400 different words, and the second half the grammar required to pass the first level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. In addition, students should recognize about 100-140 characters from Japnese's most complex writing system (kanji). Students will have fun learning Japanese and be able to say, read, and write basic Japanese sentences.
