Want to give your learner meaningful and fun Spanish instruction in a supportive environment? Looking for your learner to learn not just vocabulary words, but also how to ask and answer questions in Spanish from day 1? My private Spanish lessons provide individualized and engaging Spanish speaking and listening practice for your learner! I use original, unique teaching materials created from my classroom and private Spanish teaching experience as well as my Hispanic heritage. ------------------- *** Feel free to send a message and/or request a time if you'd prefer a different day/time than those already listed *** The ongoing version of this class can be found here: https://outschool.com/classes/beginner-spanish-private-one-on-one-classes-rFnMxDCV#usMfkJtBHa ------------------- My tutoring style for this age range is ideal for students with minimal to some Spanish experience to build a foundation of Spanish knowledge in a fun and patient way. I encourage learners to participate regularly nonverbally and verbally at their own pace, but aim for ample verbal output throughout each tutoring session. I also am mindful about prioritizing age-appropriate phrases, activities, and songs to help learners feel capable and confident in learning a new language. Finally, I regularly encourage correct pronunciation while still providing ample positive reinforcement. I will use a Google Slides presentation and adapt it to your student's age and interests (for example, singing, props, and movement for younger students vs. reading and additional conversation practice for older students) to help your learner engage and understand the content in different ways. - Technology/Materials: Depending on the lesson, students will either have printable handouts and/or digital Google Jamboard worksheets (no login required) to use during class. I will also send Quizlet flashcards regularly for students to be able to continue practicing Spanish at home. Please note: This class is not a full immersion tutoring class and there will be some English used.

After class, I send Quizlet flashcard sets to be used to practice the Spanish material at home.
