このクラスで学べること
In this class, learners will continue to explore new repertoire in first position. Note-reading skills will be worked on in addition to rhythm and intonation. Week 1 - Review of basic scales in 1st position & discussing potential repertoire for the session. New music will be introduced during this class. Weeks 2-4 - We will continue to work on new repertoire, including exploring both melody and harmony. If you have not taken the first 2 classes in this series, please contact me to ensure that the level will be suitable. All learners must have an appropriate size cello and bow in good, playable condition. A music stand is also a good idea if your learner plans to print out any of the music that we are working on in class. Please contact me with any questions or concerns before enrolling.
