Every course will have slight variations in the course with the main skill being highlighted during each class. I suggest dancers retake this class if they would like to move onto the advanced salsa styling course :) It is very important to learn the basics/foundation before moving into more advanced classes. 

Students will learn by following me in a dance sequence. I will teach the basic salsa step, with basic moves and lead up to learning a shine for boys and girls! We will practice with counting and music!

I will start the class with an introduction of everyone as well as their experience in dancing. Then we will move onto learning the basic salsa step. After the basics have been established, we will practice with music and I will watch and make sure they have the understanding. After this, We will drill basics with music. Then we will stretch/cool down before the end of the class. 

Each class will have basically the same format except the skills learned. Throughout each class we will learn a different skill, Class 1: Basic Salsa Step, Class 2: Right turns, Class 3: Left turn and Class 4: Salsa Shine.
