- The goal of this class is for students to gain further knowledge of American Sign Language and signs, improving their ASL vocabulary, grammar, and conversation skills. This class will also provide students with a foundation in ASL that they can further develop.
I love learning and teaching ASL! I have taken 3 university-level ASL courses and love learning new signs and all about the deaf community and deaf culture. I also have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Studies with over 9 years of experience working with children both online and in-person from infant to high-school-age children. I strive to create engaging, personal, and interactive lessons by incorporating movement, songs, stories, games, and manipulatives into my classes and fostering a learning environment that makes learning fun for everyone!
