Welcome to our Improv beginners class, where you'll learn to trust your instincts, improve your public speaking skills and gain the confidence you need to be a successful performer! During the first two weeks of class, you'll play fun warm-up games that will help you build trust with your classmates and allow you to feel more comfortable exploring improv. And trust us, these are not just any games! You'll be doing short skits, commercials, and more fun stuff. In the next two weeks, you'll put your newfound skills to the test by building scenes, performing skits, and exploring characters and relationships. As we move into the final weeks of the class, we'll challenge you with more complex games and rehearse skits in smaller groups, culminating in performances in front of the class. But don't worry, we always cheer each other on as though you have just given the performance of a lifetime! Join us for eight weeks of pure fun, encouragement and positivity, and become the improv superstar you were born to be!
