This class is extremely engaging because students are nonstop, practicing multiplication facts by practicing this new strategy. My strategies teach students how to solve and remember multiplication facts by using the “friendly facts” strategy. I will model and guide students to solve the tougher multiplication facts (6's, 7's, 8's and 9's). Then students get to "race the teacher" and try to beat me in solving multiplication facts. So your child will leave my class with a strategy to solve multiplication facts but also the opportunity to retain and memorize multiplication math facts....and possibly BEAT THE TEACHER!
