With over 10 years of editing experience, I have worked with thousands of aspiring young authors, offering valuable feedback in revising and editing their works. Some have even become published authors and sold copies of their books!

CLASS FORMAT:

Initial meeting (manuscript will be sent to teacher prior to meeting): 
~get to know each other 
~hear about your story and what your goals are for your writing 
~establish a timeline for editing 
    - how many meetings we will have to follow-up on edits (depending on length of manuscript) 
    - how long it will take between meetings (depending on learner's availability to review edits) 
    - when we will meet next to review the edits 

Follow-up meetings (number will vary based on agreed plan):
~go through any questions the learner or teacher has about edits and work through revisions together that need more guidance 

Edits and revisions of manuscript will be completed on a shared Google document with suggesting mode and added comments in the margins.

Rate includes: 30 minutes of editing manuscript outside of class by teacher + 30-minute live meeting to discuss suggested edits and revisions. Ratio of time spent editing per meeting can be adjusted based on length of manuscript and deadline of completing project.
