In this one time class, students will bake a marble cake. This class is beginner-friendly, even the most novice baker will be guided through this class! At the beginning of class, the students should have all of their materials ready and within reach. The students will learn through step by step instructional PowerPoint while I help out any students that need a little more guidance. Each slide will correspond with a step in the recipe. As we make the recipe, we will discuss the different ingredients and methods of mixing needed. (wet/dry, folding, beating, blending, etc.) Depending on the students' skill levels, the students might finish up with their parents after class but we should finish during class. Here are the ingredients needed: Ingredients • 1 1/2 cup butter • 3/4 cup sugar • 6 eggs • 6 Tbsp milk • 1 1/2 cup flour • 1/2 tsp salt • 1 tsp baking powder • 1/4 cocoa

Parents should be available off camera if student needs help with oven. I've put 30 mins as the class time but have found some students take longer. I have allotted extra time for students who need it.

Ingredients • 330g (11.5 oz) butter • 200g (7 oz) sugar • 6 eggs (about 300g / 11.5 oz)) • 90ml (6 tbsp) milk • 300g (11.5 oz) cake flour • 1/2 tsp salt • 5g (1 tsp) baking powder • 80g (2.8 oz) chocolate Plus other baking supplies such as bowls, spoons, 10 inch springform pan, oven mitts, oven, etc. I will have a complete list in the class posting.

Hi there. My name is Mrs. Hoel. I have a diploma in ECE level 3. I have spent many years working in daycares, a couple with high risk kids as well as being a daycare director. I spent 2 years working as a nanny, as well as a Intervention specialist for autistic kids. I was a foster parent to many high needs kids from newborn to age 17 for 10 years. I am currently an ESL teacher and taking my BA in English. Let me tell you a bit about me and what I'll be teaching.
I am passionate and interested in so many things. I will be offering a variety of different classes. I cant wait to teach you. My interests include but aren't limited to:
