In this class, students will be taught proven strategies to help raise their scores on the Math portion of the ACT exam. During class, learners will have the opportunity to take a short sample test and learn ways to help with time management and methodology to solving problems most commonly encountered on the ACT. They will also be given a sneak peek at the most commonly used English questions on the test. Additionally, we will work on mindset and ways to overcome test taking anxiety that many students experience. This course is designed to help both repeat ACT testers as well as those students who have not yet taken the ACT.

I love teaching students of all ages! I have over 20 years experience teaching students ranging in age from 4 to college level students. I strive to create a fun and engaging classroom where each student is eager to learn and participate. My mission is to make learning enjoyable and memorable.
My areas of expertise are communications and public speaking, but I love teaching science and animal related courses and helping students work on their reading skills. I currently travel around the country doing test prep classes for high school students.
I also have a passion for teaching younger students how to read. I have my ESL certification, a BS in Communications from the University of Tennessee and a MA in Business Management from Tusculum University.
