I have been studying the language my entire life but have been fluent in ASL for 18 years and have been an interpreter for 6, I am a child of an HoH, and hold many ASL certifications.
Students will be required to have their cameras on for each lesson. This will allow the students to see each other’s hands while signing. I will be using Screen Share during class to show our PowerPoint presentation. This will be a tool used for the students to follow along with the signs that we are leaning. Since the class is completely silent, only ASL used, the PowerPoint is used as guide for the students.
