ASL 3 サマーキャンプ: 手を使って話そう (11 ～ 16 歳)

This is a continuation of the course ASL 2 Summer Camp: Talk With your Hands. Learners must have previously taken an introductory ASL course before enrolling in this week-long class. This course helps to build upon the foundation your child has with American Sign Language. Learners will interact both with me, the instructor, as well as their fellow classmates. 

Below are the topics this course will cover:

Day 1:
- Animals: cat, horse, dog, snake, tiger, lion, butterfly, bird, alligator, duck, bear, elephant, lizard, pig, whale, dolphin

Day 2:
- Weather: rain, snow, wind, clouds, cold, hot, warm, sun, dark, bright, outside
- Describing: new, old, weird, strange, cute, fun, funny, boring, exciting, hard, soft, cool.

Day 3:
- Clothing: clothes, shirt, dress, skirt, pants, shorts, jacket, hat, shoes, socks, 
- Cost: cost, how-many, dollar, 10 dollars, money, buy, sell

Day 4:
- Eyebrows/facial expressions: WH questions: Why, where, when, who, what, which, how 
- Eyebrows/facial expressions: yes/no
- ASL grammar concepts: "TIME" "TOPIC" "COMMENT" structure. Inflection.

Day 5: 
- Review days 1-4

This course is taught by modeling from the instructor at first, and then students work to better understand newly learned signs by practicing with their fellow classmates. Students will continue to deepen their knowledge through games and repetition.
