5 animals in 5 days! 

Artists will need the following supplies for the 5 day camp: 

5 or more sheets of watercolor paper 
pencil
eraser
black permanent marker 
watercolors
paint brush
water cup
paper towels

In this 5 day art camp, I will guide students in drawing and painting one animal per day in the following order:  cat, owl, rabbit, llama, deer.  I use an instructional technique called directed drawing. Simply put, I break the drawings down into simple lines and shapes and demonstrate how to draw each step of the way.  Students will work on their project along with the teacher.  Once the drawings are finished we will trace with permanent marker.  After that, we will paint.  I will teach 4 different watercolor techniques over the course of this camp.  Students will be encouraged to try new techniques but also given complete freedom to paint using their own colors and techniques.  Most students will need to finish painting outside of class.  

At the end of the 5 day camp, students will have 5 unique paintings to decorate their room or give as gifts. 

The Bunny Lady’s Classroom Rules
1. All microphones will be muted by the teacher.  Students may raise their hand if they have a question.  Students may also communicate using chat. 
2. Students may get up during class at any time for any reason and do not need to ask permission to do so. 
3. All students must follow Outschool's Learner Code of Conduct.
