This individual tutoring will be a back and forth discussion between the student and myself to establish learning needs. Concepts covered that are included on the AP and general biology tests include: Cell biology, Basic Chemistry, Genetics, Evolution, Biological Diversity, Plant and Animal life, Ecology and more. Students and I will work together to identify the difficult concepts that they struggle with the most and perform focused study in order to increase student knowledge and confidence in preparation for test day. My teaching style is highly indivdualized, and I like to work with students in a back and forth conversational style in order to help them learn difficult concepts. I try to limit lecture style teaching in these types of tutoring sessions, to foster meaningful discussion.
