In this Anime Art Camp, students will learn to draw an assortment of anime characters.  Students will learn how to sketch, breakdown an anime character into simple shapes to learn how to draw anatomy, and learn to draw using a layered approach by following guided instructions provided by the instructor.  If time permits, students will be able to apply color to their art pieces.  

Each day students will learn the fundamentals of sketching, how to break down a figure into simple shapes, discuss the elements of art and principles of design. Each day of this Art Camp covers the same skills and topics, the only difference from day to day is the subject matter (anime character) we draw in class.

Experience:
No previous experience or knowledge is required. I would recommend this class to any student interested in improving their art skills. This class is a great way to learn different techniques and about a variety anime.

Materials:
Each day students will need a pencil, paper, eraser, pen/fine liner (optional for outlining drawing). Students may also draw digitally if they have the accessibility.  I will be using my drawing tablet with the program Clip Studio Paint to draw our selected character during our sessions.
