As a Kindergarten teacher, experienced in student inquiry, I will build upon your child's love of hamsters! Students will learn some fun facts about hamsters.  They will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences with hamsters. The students will then learn how to draw their very own cute hamster step-by step, through directed drawing, wearing a holiday hat!  Using my own easel, I will give your child step by step instructions to help them create their own adorable hamster drawing. Directed drawing is beneficial to children because it helps to develop listening skills, focus and creativity.  As well, your child will gain confidence in their ability to create beautiful art.  If there is time, drawings may be coloured and shared.
