Come join us as we learn about life in 1904! We'll be reading and discussing "Changes for Samantha" which tells the story of an American Girl named Samantha and her best friend Nellie. We will especially focus on the bravery and love Samantha shows as she protects her friend from harm and goes to great lengths to celebrate Valentine's Day with Nellie and her sisters. Students will have an opportunity to compare and contrast their lives to the life of this historical character. I encourage students to wear their favorite Valentine's Day outfit or dress up as their favorite American Girl!

Hello! I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2015 with a degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3). I've spent 5 years teaching in a private school setting and 2 years teaching homeschoolers and online students. It's been such an honor to be part of training students to have strong character and a life-long love of learning. I am excited to share these passions with my students on Outschool! In my free time, I enjoy cross-stitch projects, reading, playing guitar and piano, singing, and long walks with friends and family. See you in class!
