In this one time 30 minute class we will get into the Halloween Spirit and learn ASL signs for the fall season and the holiday! We will have a Halloween Sign and Find Scavenger Hunt and Halloween ASL Story Time. Students are welcomed to wear Halloween clothes/ accessories or costumes! There will be a Halloween “Share and Sign” where students will be able to have a chance to show their favorite thing about Halloween or the Fall and we will learn how to sign about it! Trick or Treat, Candy, Witch, Monster, Vampire , Bat, Pumpkin, Jack o Lantern and more!
I attended a 4 year post bachelors degree ASL Interpreter training program . I received my certificate of completion for ASL Interpreter Training. I worked in a school setting as an educational Interpreter for 3 years. I ran a signing time program at an early learning center for children ages 2-6 .
I will share the Halloween scavenger hunt over the screen. If your child would like a copy to follow along during class this can be printed out before class.
