As a mom of four and teacher, I am very sensitive and aware of the varied needs and comfort levels of learners. For that reason, I continually emphasize a classroom of respect. I am also an avid travel and History love, put those together, sprinkle the Pixie Dust and you have the perfect class!

A notesheet will be provided prior to the class. Historical information will come from the following sources; Smithsonian's History Explorer, Library of Congress, National Archives and Voices of Democracy

Please note that my love of factual history and working with learners of all ages continually leads me to the website, Common Sense Education. While we look at why particular attractions are located in Frontierland, all historical information stems from the following sources; Smithsonian's History Explorer, Library of Congress, National Archives and Voices of Democracy. More about these sources can be found at Common Sense Education (https://www.commonsense.org/education/top-picks/best-us-history-websites-for-students). We will only be using the Disney attractions as a symbol to teach us about the actual history of the Frontier.
* Learners will be provided with a notesheet prior to class if they would like to use during our class. Please note that this is not mandatory as I believe all students learn differently. * There will be a teacher created presentation supplemented by extension videos via YouTube.
