We will be discussing what life was like for Samantha Tarkington, a 9-year-old girl growing up in America during the early 1900's. While Samantha may be a fictional character, her story is one that many at the time went through. We will briefly discuss what was happening in America at this time and go more in depth about what life would have been like at this time. I will use story-telling along with powerpoint slides and worksheet/activity to engage students.
