The students will learn a new hobby. They will learn how to cut an aluminum can and turn it into a work of art. In this two part lesson the students will make a rocking chair. I have another class in which we will make a vintage chair.
I used to make these chairs all the time when I was 10 years old. It's a unique, fun and creative hobby! I spent hours making chairs and other can crafts, long before the Internet with pictures and instructions. I just made them up! I wanted to share my experience with your learner.
