In this class we will learn geography through the endangered animals who are rapidly losing their precious homes. It is sad, but true, there are so many endangered animals around the world now that we can talk about 1 animal each week and never repeat the same animal again for a really long time. I am an animal lover. It is heart breaking that we humans have a hard time sharing our home, Earth, with other living things. In this class children will learn about 1 animal each week. I will include geography in the lesson and discuss climate, lands, features, inhabitants, and phenomena of the Earth. I will incorporate pictures and videos of the animal we discuss. At the end we will discuss the animal and the place that we have learned about. I will be asking engaging questions to involve the students in the discussions.
