Welcome to "Moon Matters: A Journey through Lunar Wonders"

Embark on an enlightening exploration of Earth's celestial companion with our engaging and informative class series, "Moon Matters." This series is designed to unravel the mysteries of the Moon and unveil its profound impact on life here on Earth. 

Class will begin with a predictable and calming rhythm including a deep mindful breath and welcome poem. Students will have the opportunity to greet each other, share interesting facts about the moon. Guided by the instructor, students will then fill out their own Phase of the Moon chart and learn specific details about moon in the lunar cycle.

Students are encouraged to keep a "Moon Journal". Each class will concluded with time to create an illustration that will reinforce the days lesson. 

Each week we will cover a new lunar topic. This learning does not build on itself and students may join at anytime. 

January 5:  The Lunar Cycle and Phases of the Moon
