In this self-paced class, students will continue to build upon the basics of algebra. Week 1Lesson 1Equations Review (Basic, Absolute Value, Word Problems)Students will review a variety of equations learned in Algebra 1.Week 2Lesson 2Graphing, Slope , Domain, Range, and Interval Notation IntroductionStudents will graph linear equations and calculate slope. Students will be able to find the domain and range and use interval notationWeek 3Lesson 3Systems of Equations, Inequalities, and GraphingStudents will solve systems of equations. Students will solve and graph inequalities.Week 4Lesson 4Factoring and Operations with PolynomialsStudents will factor various expressions. Students will be able to simplify polynomials.Week 5Lesson 5Radicals and Operations with RadicalsStudents will be able to simplify radicals. Students will perform various expressions with radicals.Week 6Lesson 6Review WeekStudents will review various topics at teacher discretion.Week 7Lesson 7Imaginary NumbersStudents will be able to simplify imaginary numbers. Students will perform various operations with imaginary numbers.Week 8Lesson 8Solving Quadratic Equations and GraphingStudents will solve and graph quadratic equations.Week 9Lesson 9Evaluating Functions and Inverse FunctionsStudents will learn how to evaluate functions. - Students will learn how to solve and graph a variety of equations. Students will learn about imaginary numbers and solve expressions. Students will utilize trigonometric functions to solve for unknown values.
I have taught these concepts in a traditional school setting for many years. I have tutored these algebraic concepts for approximately ten years.

They must also post questions and respond to their peers. They will also post a video explanation of a practice problem approximately every other week.Assessment
