What will be taught? This course we'll give a sneak peek into Algebra 1 concepts to give students a head start on Algebra for the school year. Learners will cover... -Simplifying algebraic expressions -Solving linear equations -Graphing linear equations -Solving systems of linear equations Each 50 minute session will include a 15 to 20 minute mini lesson from the teacher and approximately 30 minutes of activities and practice. Sessions will allow students to engage with math content and peers while the teacher facilitates student centered learning. Interactions include games, interactive whiteboards, digital graphing tools and more. Lessons will be as interactive as necessary for student engagement but, will never lose sight of the core concepts of the lesson. Homework will be provided in this course for learner feedback and to provide progress monitoring to parents.

This course requires parental consent to use Miro- Interactive Whiteboards. This feature is important for students to be able to follow along and show their mathematical thinking digitally with ease. All classroom content is considered to be age appropriate and doesn't feature any media with safety ratings or extra necessary precautions needed.
受講の前提条件
Student's should have successfully completed 7th or 8th grade math. (Pre-Algebra)
Students should know how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers.
Students should know how to plot a point on a 4 quadrant coordinate plane.
