このクラスでは、Outschool内のクラスルームに加えて、以下を使用します。
When using some of the third-party AI platforms, separate accounts are not required for students and parents. This is because the platforms that will be primarily utilized are free (i.e. ChatGPT on OpenAI and Gemini from Google). The instructor will ask AI general and broad questions during class (which will be vetted beforehand). Furthermore, the settings for the responses will be calibrated to be child-friendly, thought-provoking, educational, and informative. As for the approved resources, the same applies in that separate accounts will not be required beforehand.
Please note that we will be asking AI platforms such as ChatGPT or Google's Gemini questions. It will be established early on that students keep in mind best practices for utilizing AI platforms. We will discuss in detail how to ask effective questions, cite sources, and even take generated responses with a grain of salt (i.e. not believe everything right away without evidence).
