Intermediate - Advanced レベル向け
Students will work with the teacher on achieving advancing knowledge of intermediate concepts in German, in order to be prepared for travel to or life in Germany. We will work on what the student and parents deem necessary to help their child succeed in their studies. This class will utilize a small group format in order for students to have plenty of time for personalized feedback and practice. The teacher will use slides, grammar practice, videos (both for grammar explanation and to learn about culture) and games (such as Kahoot! in order to give students a well-rounded language learning experience. Cultural Topics covered will be: Session 1: German history Session 2: Art history and German-speaking artists Session 3: Immigration from Germany to Africa and S. America Session 4: Modern life in Germany such as Types of Housing Session 5: German Cuisine and How it varies in Different Regions Session 6: Driving, German-made vehicles and the Autobahn Session 7: Holidays and Festivals Session 8: Songs and Popular Music Artists from German-speaking Countries
