Unlock the power of reading with 'The Phonics First Aid' Reading Class – a comprehensive reading class that utilizes a curriculum designed to transform the way children learn to read. This class is a COMPLETE and thorough class that will provide a solid foundation in phonics, the heartbeat of literacy. With an easy-to-follow structure, 'The Phonics First Aid' class serves as a lifeline for learners seeking a tried and true phonetic approach to reading. Step by step, learners are introduced to phonetic principles and effective reading strategies. You will receive a Weekly Video Lesson where you will be taught a new reading skill and then given directions on how to practice the skill during the week. ***Your child can advance through the class as quickly as they are able. So, this class could take up to 8 weeks, but you may see that your child can move through it in half the time. The first lesson is about reviewing the letter sounds and specifically, the short vowel sounds. In this class, we will practice reading CVC words.
