This course will allow students to learn military tactics and put them into practice by taking control of their very own virtual military force. Students will be given a historic military, general, and choice of weapons to build their fighting force. Students will learn about different military tactics in a fun, hands on, and engaging format.
The instructor of this lesson has a degree in history, spent years working at a World War II submarine museum, and is committed to educating learners through historic contextualization and discussion. While learners will be creating their own militaries, the military strategies discussed in this course have been used by armies all around the world.

No supplies are required for this course.
Learners will be developing their own military force for class. Military tactics and casualty numbers will be discussed in class.
Military tactics will be pulled from "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu. Historical militaries, weapons, and military leaders (for drafting into learner created militaries) will be pulled from various peer reviewed sources, including books and articles from historical journals and magazines.
