Do you have ADHD? Do you have lots of ideas and like to do things in new and different ways? Do you like sharing your experiences with other students? You should join us as we explore how to use our brain's executive function powers to our advantage in school and at home. This is an ongoing live weekly club where students can join us at any time. We'll talk about strategies to help ourselves and our ADHD brains as well as do activities and games to practice these skills. Although the subject matter builds in regards to the executive functioning skill that is being focused on, there is enough background review in each session to bring a student up to speed at any time during the class. Ongoing ADHD Coaching Club Grades 5-7, 30 minutes, up to 8 students, The class framework is: 3 minutes Check-in review from the previous session 10 minutes Topic Introduction and practice 15 minutes Small-Group Coaching 3 minutes Closure and discuss takeaway Assignment: Optional Workbook Practice SPRING SESSION BEGINS THE WEEK OF MARCH 10, 2025 WEEK OF.... This class is intentionally designed to support the unique learning needs of students who are ADHD, ASD, or have Executive Functioning challenges.
保護者へのお知らせ
Class one will be discussing background about ADHD. If a student does not know why they are attending this particular class (because they have a diagnosed neurodiversity) or are not familiar with the terms ADHD, ASD, neurodiversity, it can be problematic and a possible source of anxiety for the student. If the student is not comfortable working in a group setting with unfamiliar peers it may also be anxiety provoking.

They must already be aware of their neurodiversity. This class is not intended to be diagnostic, prescriptive or therapeutic.

A one to five-page handout will be provided prior to the class meeting.
