This is a one time course in which learners will learn addition with hands on activities. We will start off the class by introducing ourselves. We will then discuss what addition is and how to do it. Learners will be encouraged to bring a manipulative to class to help them practice (blocks, cars, counters, etc). Students will also be provided with extra printouts for them to practice at home with their families. Learners will be able to ask any questions they may have throughout the class. As in all my classes, learners are encouraged to make friends, practice their social skills, all while having fun!

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
