This course takes place during four 60-minute classes set to end just before the ACT exam dates for spring 2023. Did you know that the reading section of the ACT test is the best determiner of a student's overall score? For this reason, this course centers on the reading section of the ACT exam, but we also cover the other sections, as well as overall test-taking strategies. The class will consist of reading, discussion, practice questions and test sections designed to teach the skills...
Students will improve their knowledge of and level of comfortability with the ACT exam. Students will improve their test-taking skills and many of the specific categories tested for college entry, with a focus on reading, which is the best predictor of overall score.
