Students will review and continue to improve their accuracy in playing chords learned in Part 1 of this course. Students will continue to learn basic guitar chords, hand positioning, finger positioning, and basic strum patterns. Students will also learn beginner songs like "Jack and Jill" and "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep."

Students will be required to practice a minimum of 30 minutes per week over a 2-3 day period. Frequency over the length of practice time is preferred. For example, I prefer a student to practice 5-10 minutes per day, 3 days per week than to practice 30 minutes in one day and not touch the guitar again for the rest of the week. IMPORTANT: Please be sure to tune your learner's guitar prior to each practice session AND each lesson. Instruments get out of tune easily and quickly.
