Though there is combat in this game, it is described in words, not images. I will also ask and require students to be conscious of their descriptions, avoiding anything grotesque or inhumane. I have spent a great deal of time playing in and running Dungeons and Dragons campaigns (and many other TTRPGs) for children and adults across many different platforms. I also have much experience teaching D&D to new players. As far as teaching children goes, I've spent nearly 15 years teaching ages 8-18 in the classroom and have served in many roles from Master Teacher to Curriculum Developer to Network Trainer to Academy Headmaster (all with Great Hearts Academies).
