In this 5-day live virtual camp, students will dive into the world of veterinary medicine through hands-on activities, guided lessons, and interactive case-based learning. Each day focuses on a key aspect of veterinary science, including animal anatomy, physical exams, diagnostics, disease prevention, and clinical decision-making. Using slides, discussions, and role-playing, students will learn how to observe symptoms, take vitals, interpret diagnostic tools, and apply critical thinking to solve animal health cases. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a love for animals. Learners are encouraged to participate actively, ask questions, and even bring a stuffed animal or real pet for parts of the class. Printable worksheets, anatomy diagrams, and optional at-home activities will be provided to enhance the experience. On the final day, students will simulate a real veterinary visit and receive a printable "Junior Vet Certificate" to celebrate their hard work and learning.

I also have a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences secondary education and am currently completing a master’s degree in veterinary science. In addition to my clinical experience, I have extensive background in livestock production and animal health education.
