We will have a fun weekly activity after each chapter discussion: -get sorted into your Hogwarts house by the sorting hat -create your wizard/witch name -concoct your own potions -quiz battles & more! Once learners have completed 9 classes, they will receive a certificate of completion showing that they read the entire Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone book. Woohoo! Book Synopsis: Harry Potter resides with Vernon and Petunia Dursley, his cruel uncle and aunt, and their mischievous son, Dudley. On Harry's eleventh birthday, a half-giant named Rubeus Hagrid reveals that Harry's parents, James and Lily Potter, were wizards when he brings him an entrance letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
